Not even kidding, the other day when I attempted to transfer 400+ photographs from my camera to my computer, all of them were images of shakes and smoothies. together with strawberries. And bacon, of course.

Yes, I have just been eating that recently.
I have included bacon in my diet, but not in excessive amounts.

I just want that. My body obviously needs it at this particular moment. An endless supply of fruits and vegetables.

And that’s why I adore smoothies: they’re nutrient-dense and make it simple for me to receive my recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables in a delicious drink.
Additionally, I’ve started adding protein powder to a few of my smoothies and drinks.

To be honest, I was never a fan of protein shakes or powders, but lately I’ve been such an organized, always-on-the-go person that making a fast protein smoothie before heading out the door is the ideal way to tide me over until lunch or supper. (God, Batman, run on sentence!)

I’ve also started making an effort to move about more. Don’t worry, I’m not intending to turn this into a fitness or weight loss blog.

I simply want to a more vigorous way of living. My spirit has benefited greatly by exercising, doing yoga, and going on walks around the lake and hitting an unseen punching bag.

I stay strong because of a protein drink.
Additionally, I feel like I’m receiving a special treat because this protein shake with chocolate-covered strawberries is so rich and delicious! I consume one of them nearly every day because I adore it. Honestly. Adoration.

Don’t worry if you don’t have protein powder or don’t want to utilize it. If you add some cocoa powder and honey (which I’ve included in the recipe below), you can still have a slim chocolate shake. And for even more nutrition, try adding a handful of spinach!
